Raining Cats, Dogs, Elephants, Dragons...
Yesterday has just got to be one of the worst days of my life. Really.
The rainy season has come! Lo and behold! We were welcomed by the typhoon Florita. Fortunately, there was only a huge, windy shower in Manila. Other parts of the Philippines weren't as lucky; the typhoon really hit hard, especially the northern parts. And I heard about the typhoon in South Korea and Japan, so I was endlessly worried about my friends there.
As most of you know, it's really lovely to sleep in when it rains. But I had an 8 am class yesterday, so I shouldn't oversleep. Gaaah! I woke up at 7 am, the time I'm supposed to be out of the house. And my youngest sister just had to take time in the shower, so I was a little mad and decided to skip my 8 am class. I left the house at 830 am, a little in a rush for my 9 am class.
I was wearing The Cake Skirt, a longish pink skirt. Really wrong decision. But I had no other choice. As soon as I stepped out of the house, it got wet. And splashed with mud. -_-
There was a road accident somewhere in Cubao, so I avoided taking a jeep. Option two: LRT. But!!! The line was struck by lightning between the Katipunan and Santolan Stations. Anyway, the news said the line was open until Katipunan (where I go off), so all was well.
Or so I thought.
I went to the station and they said the train ran only until Anonas, which was a station away from Katipunan. GAAAARH!!! Anyway, I was pushing for time, and the traffic was worse when it rains, so I took the train anyway.
Wrong move.
I had to wait 10 MINUTES for the train. WHAT?! I was so late, pissed, annoyed. I left the station at 9. REALLY LATE, REALLY ANGRY. Darn luck. And when I got down at the Anonas station to transfer to a jeep to Katipunan, my skirt got more mud (wow!). Then my new yellow bag fell on the muddy jeepney floor. AAAARGH!!!!
I cried.
I was late for class, and got more mud on my skirt in hurrying. But I was not alone. But I was in a really bad mood. We went to the Anthro Museum to watch a film in class. I was sitting happily alone in the back when I suddenly felt something blew down my neck. SCAREFEST! So I moved my seat....
Then lunch. We got locked out, and no one had lunch money so we had to wait. RAHR. -_-
Then lab. Watched a film, got a little sleepy.
Then we went home. Most of us skipped football training because of the horrible weather.
Lalalalalalalala...no other bad luck so far.
Until I reached the area near my house. I didn't bother keeping my flipflopped feet dry, since I was on my way home (HOT SHOWER!!!!!), but I took great care not to wet my upper body and my bag. Lalala, I sang. I was just about to turn triumphantly to my street, when suddenly a #%$@* taxi whizzed by and splashed dirty water all over me! All I did was scream, "JUK EUL RAE!!!!" and sulk away, pissed.
If that wasn't enough, my finger got injured in the door. OUCH!!!!
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaynakoooooooooooooooooo................
Today, it's still raining all sorts of animals, but not as hard as yesterday. Thank goodness, classes in all levels were suspended.
I swear I'll write something more substantial next time. I swear.
0 What do you say about that?
